What Lucerna fixes

Why won't it launch?

You added a few mods and now the game won't start. Lucerna lists what stops it in plain words, and one button fixes everything it can.

Each row shows how many mods it needs and how many need it. Open one to see the whole chain, with every library marked as installed, disabled or missing.

You added your own mods to a modpack. Lucerna tracks which ones are yours, so a pack update replaces only the mods the pack shipped.

Mods in your language

Some of your mods show only English. Write your own text for any line a mod shows: Lucerna packs your lines into a resource pack and switches it on, and the mod files stay as they were.

Built to be trusted, not just used

Open source. GPL-3.0-or-later — forks must stay open, which blocks the re-skinned-with-telemetry forks Lucerna exists to avoid.
No telemetry. No analytics, no fingerprinting, not even an opt-out variant.
Never modifies Minecraft. The Java runtime and game files come straight from Mojang and are left untouched.

Windows Linux beta macOS beta

Windows 10/11 (64-bit). Java is not required — Lucerna downloads the correct runtime per Minecraft version. Not code-signed yet: on first run, SmartScreen → “More info” → “Run anyway”.

Lucerna in your language

Lucerna's menus and buttons come in English and Russian today. If your language is missing, you can add it on Weblate in your browser, without writing any code. Translate as much as you like: any line you skip stays in English.
